Mystical Music Awakens The Dormant Soul

Image Credit: https://www.facebook.com/AghorMusicMystics Let’s make the life bestowed upon us worthy, every second of it. These moments which you call the present today, will just be memories tomorrow. #LiveNow These were the lines I penned last Friday when I was watching a band called Aghor playing live at Bak Bak Bar . These Score Nights gig have slowly started becoming a part of my Friday night routine. Guess as long as the entry tickets are priced within my affordable budget they would continue to stay a part of my routine.

Nothing Really Rhymes, Yet It’s A Song

I am good and I am bad, I am right and I am wrong, Nothing really rhymes, yet it’s a song. Jagged it is and it’s all a part of me, Yet it's only the good you see, But then you see only what I wish to show, Nothing really rhymes, yet it’s a song. My eyes see what I wish to see, But my mind visualizes the extreme, When I speak, I speak my mind, But I Wish it was the words beating in my heart, Nothing really rhymes, yet it’s a song. _VJ says ~ Cheers and Peace

Rays Of Love Brighten Life

Image Credit: www.facebook.com/vinay.cygnus “You know it's not you out there, Smiling because you have to, Exchanging can of lies to please thy ego, Stubbing the truth and shunting you emotions, Doing things you always despised. All you ever wanted to be is free, To speak unmindful of outcomes, To be shamelessly truthful, But now you are none of these.” Karan reread the lines he had penned in his diary the previous night. A frail smile appeared on his face. He then walked out to the balcony of his apartment and lit up his fifth cigarette for the night. As he exhaled the smoke, he stared at the empty street. He took another drag, as he let go the smoke he drifted into a flash back of a sort. All the events that transpired during the day flashed in front of his eyes.

Life Is More Than Battling Reality

“If Life is a reality, so is death. If Truth is a reality, so is lie. If Love is a reality, so is hate. Time oscillates between real and the unreal, Unreal too is a reality in the making. You will always wish to change your present,   But the present is real and so are your wishes too. You might try and fail to change your realities, What you forget to respect in the game is your individuality.” Well these words pretty much sum up everything that I wanted to convey. Now there isn’t any particular incident that happened which actually triggered these words. It was just few thoughts bubbling up in my mind and I had to find a way to let them escape.

Sweetness Of Our Love Lasts Forever

“All the remorse and misery of my life, Melted the moment when our eyes met in silence. And now the sweetness of our togetherness lasts forever.” These were the words I wrote for her on the eve of Valentine’s Day. When I got back home hours went by before I picked the phone and told her I need two minutes of her time to recite three lines I wrote for her. Finally I called her up and recited these lines. I could imagine the smile on her face. Few minutes later my mobile phone beeps signalling a new incoming message. I eagerly check it out and this is what it says;

Lasting Memories Of A Sunday With Lagori !!!

There are Sundays, there are good Sundays and then there are the ones which make us exclaim ‘what a great Sunday!’ Well it was definitely one such Sunday which deserves to be called ‘What a Great Sunday!’ It had all the perfect ingredients, beginning with preparing the breakfast with the person I love the most in my life and ending with a memorable musical gig by Lagori  at the  Souk On The Move event in Bangalore. "You haven't really lived your life, Until and unless you have enjoyed it, Enjoyed it despite the shortcomings, Enjoyed it despite its imperfections."

Midnight Notes Before Storm Festival

ImageSource: www.stormfestivalindia.com The thought of travelling to a destination away from the  madness of the city is exciting. A chance to get away from the everyday rut of work you do to earn your living is exhilarating. The idea of disappearing in the darkness of the night only to find oneself miles away in the woods in company of some electrifying music is awe-inspiring. Well sure it’s just the kind of craving I have always sensed from within. And now comes a time I get to live this little dream of mine. I’m just four hours away from hitting the road to Coorg, the picturesque Coffee plantation district of Karnataka. The destination is Napoklu a little known hamlet nestled 14.5 km from Main Town Madikeri. When the sunrises tomorrow I will be setting foot on Storm Fields, call it the Woodstock of India, the Storm Festival . It’s going to be my first ever campout music festival.
