Minds Eye Of Life

  I woke up again In the dead of the night, Thoughtless and blank, I was lying on the mat, Starring at the green roof, Trying to find answers, To questions unknown. There was noise amidst the silence, Tiny rain drops hitting the roof, And then trickling down to the ground, It was some strange music, Being composed by nature in the darkness.

I looked up at the sky  lying down on the ground, I tried hard to find a  twinkling star in the dark sky, The clouds had hid them all,  away from my sight, The moon too seemed to be shy, Darkness was the queen tonight. I stayed there on the ground peacefully  stretching out my arms, I slowly seemed to be drawn  into the beauty of darkness, It was as if she was teasing me with her charm, Asking me to embrace her  and hold her close in my arms. I closed my eyes and there was darkness within, I opened my eyes and there was darkness around, We seemed to have been  interwoven by soul and body, And I stayed there on the ground  watching her takeover the sky, Nothing seemed more sweet  than this moment of love, this moment of high. - VJ Says ~ Cheers and Peace!

He held her hand, looked up at her and said, "Nothing can ever be more beautiful than you. Never met anyone who is as wonderful as you. I can sense thy love, I'm mesmerized by the shine in you twinkling eyes." She smiled at his innocence, she wished to see her angel. She felt sad that she could never know what he look like. Darkness is all she could see through her blind eyes. He kissed her soft ly and they walked away hand in hand. Why are you searching for the lost happiness? It was never yours, nor will it ever be. For no one can stay happy forever, If it was so then sorrow would be an orphan. I sit alone and remorse the absence of happiness, The more I want it, the sadder I feel, This pursuit of happiness gives birth to the evil of sadness, And in this very moment I ignore and forget, The sacrifice I make of the present. Yet the heart seems to rule the mind, It keeps the hunt on, for something that is illusive to find. With the life in tatters, There seems nothing more to cherish, Than a dozen half smoked buds and few empty bottles. I wander alone on the beaches of shame, I seem to forget the purpose, the goal and also my name. And then finally resting my head on the rocky shores, I call for the end of misery as I knock on the silent doors. ---- VJ ----- Cheers n Peace!
