Silly moments of joy

Silly moments of joy,
Their life seemed to have aplenty.
The unforgettable kiss,
The bewitching smile,
The moments of silence,
Shared with affection
Between the known unknowns.

They fought together,
The pain and misery.
The believed and lived,
With harmony and peace.
Life's little moments of joy,
They celebrated all of them
It was an unexplained bond,
Between the known unknowns.

The sunsets and sunrises,
The nights with shining stars,
The moonless nights of darkness,
They lived through them all,
With limitless love and undying care,
They were bonded together
Forever by warmth and affection,
It was a silent promise,
Between the known unknowns.

  1. Beautiful poem..
The known unknowns was an interesting phrase. Deep and profound, with a lot of meaning implied.

The flight had to make an emergency landing owing to the bad weather. After ten long years Sanjeev had finally decided to take a vacation. Akash had convinced him during a casual chat on Facebook the previous night that it was high time he broke out of the self imposed shell and fourteen hours later he was on his way to meet his childhood friend in Delhi.

Awakening Of the Inner Self!

It was yet another  Friday  or billions of earthlings. May be it was a mundane day ahead for some and exciting for others. An exciting day ahead for the ones who were certain of the joy to be unwrapped the next day, the weekend. Well, in my case it was the former. Blame it on being one amongst the many who work on Saturdays.
