Innocence Is Joy

instagram.com/ishenoy “Innocence is the joy of truly being carefree. The desire to be a free spirit isn’t lost yet.” Do you remember the childhood days? We were carefree and free spirited souls. The appetite and ability to take risks had no bounds. May be it was because we were so innocent that we didn’t even realize that something called risk existed. So did growing up and screw up the fun as we shed the element innocence? I remember a kid in the picture I clicked at one of the railway station. He was totally zoned out from the world around. He smiled; he cried and then suddenly took off, running around the station exploring it in his own way. It was quiet a wild chase for his parents, but he was so unperturbed by all of it. When his mom lifted him off the ground and took him in her arms he smiled again. It was such a joy to watch him, a truly free spirited soul. He connected with every stranger who passed by him when he was seated on the chair in the waiting lou...

Life Is Beautiful

Sitting in the park, amidst the lush greenery, I saw a few people having conversations with a smile, A few people lost in time playing with their innocent kids, And a few others are sitting in solitude yet happy. The air I breathed smelled of joy and happiness, It smelled of content and peace all around, A moment peace was found amidst a tranquil surrounding, I looked inwards and told myself that life is indeed beautiful. -VJ Says ~ Cheers and Peace

And it rained…

As I walked out of the office into the wet street a smile escaped my lips. After several weeks of unbearable summer heat it had finally rained. The cool breeze of wind only added to my joy. There has always been something mystical about rain. Especially the occasional ones which are blessed in summer. They bring along a wave of positivity, a sense of hope, a feeling of liberation.

Joy Of Life Is In NOW!

“Let’s fall in love, madly with now, Let’s not worry about why, what and how. Let’s not bother about the unseen, Now is the princess and the only true queen.” As I stepped out of my office I could feel the rain drops slowly wetting the streets. It was a drizzle, a heavy rain would have been even better. But the drizzle was enough set off the unique fragrance of wet soil. As I walked down the road to catch an auto to get home, the drizzle got stronger so did the fragrance. At that precise moment I could feel a gentle smile blossoming on my face. I was enjoying it, wishing to get drenched in rain if it was to get heavy. Such small silly moments have a lot of joy filled in them. The feeling of joy still lingered around even after it had stopped drizzling. It feels blissful to enjoy these moments. Somehow it makes me believe in the power of now. The present moment is the one which needs to be celebrated. The future is still few miles away. Until we get there and turn it...

New Day, New Beginning!

There few acts and action from which you derive immense happiness, but they don’t pay you to make a living off it. They may be hobbies you pursue, things that you do to have a happy soul. And somewhere down the journey you add the element of expectations to it. Instead of acts of selfless joy these turn to be acts of ego. Expectations somehow add to your miseries which you were already battling in life. Gradually you stop pursuing little acts of happiness and stay stuck in daily muddle of chasing the unknown to make a living. Until one day you wake up after a sleepless night and speak to your inner self. Cry out loud, question self about your foolishness and then feel determined to start the journey rediscover self. You start to put together bits and pieces of the shattered self. Feel resurgent and decide to start pursuing those acts of selfless joy. Fully aware that the battle of life neither begins with self nor can be brought to an end. It only transforms to present new si...

Silly moments of joy

Silly moments of joy, Their life seemed to have aplenty. The unforgettable kiss, The bewitching smile, The moments of silence, Shared with affection Between the known unknowns. They fought together, The pain and misery. The believed and lived, With harmony and peace. Life's little moments of joy, They celebrated all of them It was an unexplained bond, Between the known unknowns. The sunsets and sunrises, The nights with shining stars, The moonless nights of darkness, They lived through them all, With limitless love and undying care, They were bonded together Forever by warmth and affection, It was a silent promise, Between the known unknowns. - VJ Says ~ Cheers and Peace

Together Forever Until Sunset Of Our Lives

She was sitting alone at sea shore, Her eyes twinkled with joy, As she looked with affection at her feet, The shining silver toe ring, A gift, a symbol of love, wrapped with promises. He had told her a year ago on this very day, He will be back and they would meet again, He had gone far away across seven seas, But today he would return to her forever. She looked up at the sky, There were no twinkling stars tonight, But the moon did shine bright, In the distant moon too she saw his reflection. She felt a gentle tap on her shoulder, She turned around and it was him, He had kept up his promise, He was back in her arms again. The kiss that night in the moonlit night, It said it all without any words spoken. A new journey was about to begin, A journey of togetherness, Not just filled with promises of a new life , But the one in which they would be together forever, They had both made a promise that night; This journey of toget...

Sweetness Of Our Love Lasts Forever

“All the remorse and misery of my life, Melted the moment when our eyes met in silence. And now the sweetness of our togetherness lasts forever.” These were the words I wrote for her on the eve of Valentine’s Day. When I got back home hours went by before I picked the phone and told her I need two minutes of her time to recite three lines I wrote for her. Finally I called her up and recited these lines. I could imagine the smile on her face. Few minutes later my mobile phone beeps signalling a new incoming message. I eagerly check it out and this is what it says;

Some Say Its White, Some Say It’s Black!
