Minds Eye Of Life

The biggest fear many of us breed within us, is the fear of being judged. I said breed because it’s an outcome of our own self doubt. We are all preached to follow the line discipline from a young age. We are also threatened that any act to break the discipline will only lead to catastrophic disaster or something of that sort. Success becomes the centre of our universe and every action or reaction of ours is presumed to be relative to our ability to achieve it. The aspect of being able to win the race becomes the only parameter to evaluate a person. In this process of mad rush we all forget the value attached to the paths we choose. No one is here to end up as looser in all walks of life. Success is desirable to all, but that being said it’s not always about the societal judgement which decides if you have achieved it. When destination is unplanned, Journey never ends. If you ever think, That you have reached, That you have arrived, Then think again. Where you have reached, Is only one amongst the many milestones. Sometime later it will be time to pack again, Get set and hit the road again.

Sometimes in life you are not able to comprehend why you doing things the way you are doing it. It’s not just about “going with the flow” kind of attitude. It’s about doing things simply because you feel it’s the right thing to do. “Critics... what’s that? Who cares?” that’s the attitude. Life after all is collection of many such events. It all adds up to make life the way it is. That’s why I guess no two lives are alike and that’s what shapes ones individuality. Compromises, some more compromises and then few more compromises. This cycle is always vicious. You never realise how and when you lead your life to becoming a substandard one. Live a little, it’s OK to make mistakes. If you don’t make one you would always keep wondering – would my life have been different and probably a better one had I made few choices different. Whenever things go astray in life we all do play the blame game. I am no exception I used to pass the buck too. Until one day the buck stopped with me! I believe if I’m sad today it has to do something with what I have done. After all “we are all creators of our own destiny!” a clichéd statement, but its often true. Now why did I sit down to write what I’m writing right now, well there is a reason. For the past week or so I have been feeling quiet awkward from within. Unable to find a way out, I saw myself suffering from within. We all sometimes fail to understand each other in the true sense. We all tend to make our own conclusion without probably knowing the whole truth. What’s important is to try to look beyond what you see. For life is not what you see, Life is actually much beyond it!
