I hear the voice of love, which sounds distant, but I know its just you, Far away you might be, but distance can never fade my love for you. I hear it again and realize, its your heart beat that I feel within me, Its real and forever, just pure and blissful like the waves of the sea." Words trickle off the pen and adorn the blank canvas effortlessly when you remember your beloved. The art of poetry comes alive when its one soul talking to another through words. They say, distance only makes the heart grow fonder. Its true what they say and I can feel it too. I wait anxiously for my love to be back in my arms again and I promise myself to love her more than I have loved until now. I looked up at the sky  lying down on the ground, I tried hard to find a  twinkling star in the dark sky, The clouds had hid them all,  away from my sight, The moon too seemed to be shy, Darkness was the queen tonight. I stayed there on the ground peacefully  stretching out my arms, I slowly seemed to be drawn  into the beauty of darkness, It was as if she was teasing me with her charm, Asking me to embrace her  and hold her close in my arms. I closed my eyes and there was darkness within, I opened my eyes and there was darkness around, We seemed to have been  interwoven by soul and body, And I stayed there on the ground  watching her takeover the sky, Nothing seemed more sweet  than this moment of love, this moment of high. - VJ Says ~ Cheers and Peace!

Suppressed emotions buried in silence, Makes me feel alienated from your love. It was never meant to be this way, When we began the journey together. I do know that love is still green, Hidden beneath the unspoken words. There are subtle signs in your silence, Whispering to me, that it’s just a phase. I have not given up on our love, We have come a long way together. I am not giving up just yet, Not so soon, not now, not ever. Our souls are entwined mystically, I can feel the warmth of our bond. “Let’s fall in love, madly with now, Let’s not worry about why, what and how. Let’s not bother about the unseen, Now is the princess and the only true queen.” As I stepped out of my office I could feel the rain drops slowly wetting the streets. It was a drizzle, a heavy rain would have been even better. But the drizzle was enough set off the unique fragrance of wet soil. As I walked down the road to catch an auto to get home, the drizzle got stronger so did the fragrance. At that precise moment I could feel a gentle smile blossoming on my face. I was enjoying it, wishing to get drenched in rain if it was to get heavy. Such small silly moments have a lot of joy filled in them. The feeling of joy still lingered around even after it had stopped drizzling. It feels blissful to enjoy these moments. Somehow it makes me believe in the power of now. The present moment is the one which needs to be celebrated. The future is still few miles away. Until we get there and turn it...

Silly moments of joy, Their life seemed to have aplenty. The unforgettable kiss, The bewitching smile, The moments of silence, Shared with affection Between the known unknowns. They fought together, The pain and misery. The believed and lived, With harmony and peace. Life's little moments of joy, They celebrated all of them It was an unexplained bond, Between the known unknowns. "Silence around in your absence speak of you , In hushed tones and unknown whispers I hear you, You not being around at this moment, Doesn't take away your presence in my life, It only make me believe stronger in our love, We shall keep building memories of togetherness, They will forever be remembrance of our happiness." There was a time when I wondered, What would she look like, The one who would make me smile. There was a time when I wondered, What would she be like, The one who would make me dance. I waited for years together, Met a few, who made me smile, Also met a few who made me dance, But never did I meet the one, Who would make me smile as I danced. It all changed when she came into my life, There was silence and no music, But she lit up my life with her smile.
