The appetite and ability to take risks had no bounds. May be it was because we were so innocent that we didn’t even realize that something called risk existed. So did growing up and screw up the fun as we shed the element innocence? I remember a kid in the picture I clicked at one of the railway station. He was totally zoned out from the world around. He smiled; he cried and then suddenly took off, running around the station exploring it in his own way. It was quiet a wild chase for his parents, but he was so unperturbed by all of it. When his mom lifted him off the ground and took him in her arms he smiled again. It was such a joy to watch him, a truly free spirited soul. He connected with every stranger who passed by him when he was seated on the chair in the waiting lou...

I’m just a child, let me be one, I want to fight and cry, I want to love and smile, I’m just a child, let me be one. As days go by, years roll on, And you begin to wonder where are good days gone. The innocence is lost, so is the smile, All you pray for is to be happy, just for a while. You begin to miss the care, miss the love, You are not alone, Yet you feel lonely in midst of a crowd, Pause for a moment in silence, Can you hear child within talk to you, I’m just a child, let me be one, I want to fight and cry, I want to love and smile, I’m just a child, let me be one.

Happiness, the Child within us! I sure know except a few no one really reads what I write in my blog. But that sure doesn’t bother me. Very few amongst the people I know actually know about this. If others were to read, the only good thing would be people either critically agree or disagree with what I say. It feels good to be writing again for sure. It has been a long time since I last wrote anything. It’s just that we all go through different phases of life. As the clichéd statement goes.... " We all have ups and downs in life." So guess it was one of those down phases. Few thoughts came to my mind, when I was travelling by bus today. I was standing amongst the many common men and women of Mumbai in the bus.
