Lasting Memories Of A Sunday With Lagori !!!

There are Sundays, there are good Sundays and then there are the ones which make us exclaim ‘what a great Sunday!’ Well it was definitely one such Sunday which deserves to be called ‘What a Great Sunday!’ It had all the perfect ingredients, beginning with preparing the breakfast with the person I love the most in my life and ending with a memorable musical gig by Lagori  at the  Souk On The Move event in Bangalore. "You haven't really lived your life, Until and unless you have enjoyed it, Enjoyed it despite the shortcomings, Enjoyed it despite its imperfections."

At Crack Of Dawn On A Blissful Sunday

A flock of birds woke me up today, They said to me – “Look at the clear blue sky, Enjoy the light drizzle with soothing breeze, Young man don’t miss it, It’s a beautiful Sunday.” I stood by the window, With a cup of coffee in my hand, My mind travelled miles away, And I found myself sitting alone on the beach sand. It was dawn and sun was gently on the rise, The first rays of sun on the Sunday morning, Slowly transformed the canvas called sky,  Into a kaleidoscope of innumerable colours. I took a deep breath, Trying to inhale the fragrance of the morning, Nothing in life smelled so sweet before. Before I could realise, My mind seemed intoxicated, Intoxicated by the beauty of life, A sense of happiness engulfed my mind, The silly smile on my face said it all. Life indeed is beautiful, Never miss silly moments of joy, It is all about making best of what you get, That makes life worthwhile.

A Sunday To Remember!

“Sundays come Sundays go, Signalling the end of the weekend Pessimists sulks in the agony of Monday blue An optimist rejoices, sinks deep and enjoys the Sunday” Sunday the 07 December 2009 was indeed a day I had not foreseen to have fun, but boy what a Sunday it turned out to be. My Sundays are usually the same, no different from the previous ones. But the last few weeks I had sensed within me certain welcome changes from within. Yet I had not planned anything different for this Sunday of mine.  I was casually sitting on my bed, post breakfast reading the Sunday Times. A phone call from a close friend changed it all. He gave me an hour to get ready and reach his place, for what awaited me after reaching there, the events I became part of subsequently changed the way my Sundays usually are. Well before I proceed further let me tell you all, I don’t propose that my Sunday was better than anyone else’s in the world. But to me it was special because I found myself being genuinely happy and...

Beautiful Sunday

It was yet another Sunday in my life. I pushed myself out of the bed trying to beat the weekend laziness. I struggled hard and I succeeded. I was welcomed by heavy rain and I could feel it in the breeze of wind which blew into my room through the open windows. I went out in pouring rain with my broken umbrella. Hunting for breakfast exploring the new locality I recently moved into. For the first time in many weeks I felt good about the rain. It wasn’t the first rain nor would it be the last of this season. I felt within me the excitement of a kid. Smiling all along as I walked on the streets. Vehicles where zipping past splashing water against me. I took a look around, some people engrossed in thoughts, a group of friends walking alongside giggling and talking aloud amongst them and many others who where trying to get somewhere. I loved it all and seamed to be happy about the rain. Remembering even I once used to enjoy the season. But then somewhere along the journey of life I had got ...

A Sunday 2 remember!

I'm just getting back home in few minutes... winding up the weekend with a smile! Had been out 2 meet couple of my good old frenz ... One of them is flying 2 middle east in a week. I'm happy for her. I'm sure she is gonna shine as usual in the beautiful night sky... just like a star! We shared a great time when in WNS ....It was fun being able 2 meet 2 good frenz of mine... Great cherishing the old memories of WNS ! On my way back, I took the bus from station to home... Ye off late its gonna be more of bus and less of rick! Call it the impact of recession.... Or should I say bluntly.. can't afford the luxury all the time yaar ! he he he he.... Ye I came across a beautiful girl in RED! Hmmmm ... But then her beauty couldn't hold me captivated for long... I was swept away my the innocent smile of two kids in the same bus.... So true Innocence is bliss and beautiful too... Cheers!
