words of love

"Your smile is what keeps me going, Your words make me believe in hope, You turn every moment of gloom to joy, I feel truly blessed to have you by my side, I question if I am truly worth it all." - VJ says cheers and peace

Accept the reality and be free

When things don't add up, When quelling within the mind doesn't subside, You keep questioning yourself, You try to weigh the options, All the math still doesn't drive away the confusion, And then you question your choices, Wish you had done things different, Or you simply accept the reality. - VJ says Cheers & Peace

To Social Or Not To Social, That Is The Question.

Couple of days back I received a tweet from Blog Adda notifying me of an activity they were conducting for the upcoming Social Media Week in Bangalore. The blogging challenge intends to understand individuals perspective on the topic  ‘Social Media on Mobile Vs Web – How has it impacted your life?’ Let me just begin by telling you about a small incident that happened this morning. Reading the hard copy of the newspaper is almost a daily ritual in most households. I am no exception to this either, but then its just another habit that's hard to quit. This in no uncertain terms means that its my only source of fodder for news. This morning the newspaper delivery boy was late again. I didn't fret about it as I had already got my daily dose of latest news through multiple news channel apps on my mobile phone. Which was followed by checking my timeline on popular social media networks Twitter and Facebook. Had it been an year or so back, I would have been switching on my laptop ...

Little Drops Of Love

"Hushed music is what I hear, its the little drops of rain, The darkness around is scary, but your memories keep me sane. I hear the voice of love, which sounds distant, but I know its just you, Far away you might be, but distance can never fade my love for you. I hear it again and realize, its your heart beat that I feel within me, Its real and forever, just pure and blissful like the waves of the sea." Words trickle off the pen and adorn the blank canvas effortlessly when you remember your beloved. The art of poetry comes alive when its one soul talking to another through words. They say, distance only makes the heart grow fonder. Its true what they say and I can feel it too. I wait anxiously for my love to be back in my arms again and I promise myself to love her more than I have loved until now. For love grows forever exponentially with years spent together and life is always divine with the one you love. -VJ says ~ Cheers and Peace

Looking outwards to look within

My travel so far has been exceptionally interesting. On one end of the spectrum is my quest of sort, to rattle me off the comfort zone I had built around me. At the other end of the spectrum is a lovely couple in their sixties who patched up with me to come along, which was totally unplanned. Of course certain patches of this travel have been solo. But mutual exploration of sort is also underway between two generations. Yesterdays travel was destination Karwar and its countryside. A great mix of spiritual abodes in the hinterlands and sparsely populated beaches. Both gave me different perspectives but the calming effect were the same. In one of those many moments of self introspection I penned the words below; "We humans are either superior hypocrites or down right idiots! Well the plain reality is that we all want to find nirvana, We travel in the name of peace, tranquility and higher purpose, The obscure bigger reality is that it lies within and not around. The trut...

Let The Nature Do Its Magic

Nature's enchanting beauty has never disappointed anyone and never will it ever disappoint anyone. Its true as long as we make sure we keep nurturing it and help spread more smiles. When you truly let yourself get absorbed by its enigmatic serenity you will feel the smile extending from your face to your heart. The train ride from Mangalore to Ankola today was one of the best I have experienced in recent pasts. During the first leg of my journey I was simply wowed and was engrossed in clicking pictures trying capture as much of natures beauty as I could. A little while later I  asked myself, what was I doing? I was being a lame me, try to cage the beauty of nature in mere images. The next couple of hours was spent simply looking outside the window, trying to to absorb the beautifully changing landscape through my eyes only. There was now a silent connect between me and nature. The landscape changed from that of a still lakes with distant view of hills to that of lush gree...
