Once there was a crazy young lad!

What you deserve is what you desire, What you gain is what you are destined. Yet you keep building the castle of your dreams, For you hope desires will turn into your destiny. Some truth and some lie, Mix them both and you have life, All that you get is not what you seek, No point standing silent, This place sure is not for the meek. What you believe is what you follow, You stand by them, cause those are your ethics. Seldom do the others out there care, For they feel you are a preacher, And they have no time for philosophy. Sometimes you end up confused, Standing and starring at the cross roads, Just keep walking on the path you choose. It’s better to try than fear, Never look back, never regret, There is nothing to lose. When it all ends one fine day, Someone somewhere is sure to say, Once there was a crazy young lad, He did what he believed in, He never feared to be sad.

Mystical! Magical! Numinous! Or Simply – “Music!”

Many years ago I heard a song called “Dooba Dooba” by a band called “Silk Route”. Didn’t know who was the lead singer then, but his voice made a distinct impression. As I sit comfortably in my cushioned chair to share my thoughts I’m listening to Mohit Chauhan on MTV Unplugged! Amazing musician, his music brings a breeze of fresh air, mountain air to be more precise. He has a soulful voice. His music lightens up the whole mini world of mine. Music has always occupied a large part of my life. Although I’m terrible at singing and I don’t know to play any instrument. Listening to music has always given great high. I’m sure many would agree to its magical, mystical and intoxicating effect. When I’m with music, I’m never alone. Music has been my companion, during my not so long, yet not so short walk back home from office.   It’s an amazing feeling, walking on the crowded street with music in my ears. Deaf to the noise and chaos of the world, I feel the high as if in

“Click. Boom. Amazing!” - Steve Jobs

It was just a casual chat with one of my co-worker. He asked me, "How much money, is enough money? Steve Jobs made billions and now he is dead. What use is the money when it couldn't save his life?"  Well true in a way, money may not buy you everything, it may not be everything. Desires have no end but there always means to accomplish them.  More than the wealth Steve Jobs made it’s the other aspect about this character which charms me. He was a great believer of his ideas; he was what we call a visionary. Great ideas, amazing products, designs that made customers croon about apple. Someone who made customers stay not just loyal, but if I may say - slave to apple products.  The other facet of Steve which stands out is, he was a great fighter. I'm not just referring to his battle with cancer. He fought hard against cynics to create Apple in the first place. Then there was the episode of exiting Apple and creating Next! Then of course his return to Apple,
